Mr. Harrison began his career in the field of law as a Legal Assistant to Chief Justice Conrad L. Mallett, Jr., of the Michigan Supreme Court, and as a Legal Assistant at the Detroit Medical Center. He also specialized in insurance defense litigation and municipal defense as an Associate at the law firms of Floyd Allen & Associates, Kopka, Pinkus & Dolin and Grier and Copeland, P.C. His legal experience also extends to early childhood education and corporate governance as he is the former Corporation Counsel at Hartford Head Start Agency, Inc., a nonprofit entity with a Six-Million Dollar ($6,000,000.00) Annual Budget and over One-Thousand (1000) students enrolled. Mr. Harrison then spent almost seven years at the Detroit Public Schools as Assistant General Counsel.  He advised two Emergency Managers, the School Board and numerous executive clients and was then promoted to be Counsel to the Inspector General and Police Chief.  He now is an In-House attorney at a major insurance company.

In education, Mr. Harrison taught as an Adjunct Professor in the MBA Program and Undergraduate Program at Davenport University in the areas of Employment Law and an Introduction to the Law seminar for Undergraduates. To be sure, his two years of study at Nova Southeastern University's Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, provided him with an informed perspective on the international sports industry.

In sport and entertainment, Mr. Harrison, as an Executive Assistant to the Mayor of the City Detroit, created the Athletes for a Better Detroit Foundation and managed this project. The Foundation successfully recruited the following prominent professional athletes to become Board Members during its first year of existence: Steve Smith, Jerome Bettis, Derrick Coleman, Jalen Rose and Pepper Johnson. This project provided Mr. Harrison with an "in-camera" view of the professional advisors representing professional athletes and the methodology used by professional athletes to invest in businesses.
